I do something similar but, I use two bratwurst sausages (casings removed) to form a patty without the cheese. After steaming the patties, I pan-sear them to give them a bit of Maillard crust and present them on a kaiser roll. I do have one question. I only make one burger at a time since I usually only cook for myself. If I steam enough burgers for a small number of guests, could I steam all the burgers at one time for the 15-minute time? Thank you.

I am curious, I like my burgers topped with Worcestershire sauce, and or liquid smoke for some added kick when I grill or cook on stove top. Do you think adding either of these things inside the foil would hinder the overall outcome?

This is a great video and so enjoyable to watch. Love your kitchen too! I love to cook so would finish the hamburger with BBQ sauce and finish on the BBQ or broil in oven until BBQ sauce caramelises. Nom Nom Yum.
