Great video, Michele. You are wasting that precious bean water from soaking and/or cooking, by letting it drain down to the sewer. There is not much better house plant watering than smelly ole bean water. Your house plants will thrive like never before. It will help complete the missing pot microbiota.
Another hint is that powdered spices seem to sink to the bottom and burn. I use black pepper-laced turmeric for its anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer test positive. Maybe I'll try your 4:1 ratito.
