I am seeing some less then positive comments about this cooking style of bacon.. I only learned of this style a couple years ago and thought “No Way” but it actually works well. ((Yes)) it may take a little longer then frying but the bacon is definitely better and it’s about the same amount of time as cooking it in the oven which is my personal favorite way to cook bacon.

You don’t want to drown the bacon with water .. Just barely enough to cover is all you need..

♨️ Now for all the good people that has bothered to read my comment this far I have a gift for you..

I’m somewhat of a scientist when cooking and love to explore different seasonings and cooking methods so I’m gonna share the absolute best seasoning to pair with bacon..

Place your bacon on a foil lined cookie sheet

Sprinkle a quality brand Lemon Pepper on the bacon..

Bake in the oven on 400 until almost done

Then take out drain the bacon grease into grease trap and put bacon back in the oven long enough for it to crisp..

I’ve sampled every seasoning available and Lemon Pepper kicks it up better then any other.

If you haven’t already tried this I hope you enjoy..

I had just gotten home and fired up You Tube . This was in my feed.. I had a half pack of bacon ,as well as 4 slices from another pack that were getting kinda long in the tooth. So I figured I would cook them tonight ,Have a couple of BLTs ,and a bacon mushroom cheese burger next week So I cooked it like this. I ate almost all of the bacon. It was perfect.

Everyone here from the present day remember this video is 11 years old. In that time I have perfected my bacon cooking methods – none of which include a submersion in water!

Parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Lay out the bacon so they are not on top of each other. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until they are your preferred crispness in a 400F degree oven.

Steam bake on a wire rack so it can drain in the oven, putting the pan with bacon in to the oven cold. After your oven comes to full baking temperature it will take 15-25 or so minutes (depending on the temperature you are using). yes it takes a while, but you can make a full pound or more of bacon at once and since it is so low effort you can prepare your other items while it cooks.

This is absurd. So many of these cooking hacks just make things tedious and time consuming, when there are much simpler ways of achieving the same result. Just put the bacon on a tray and cook in the oven, same result, only takes about 12min, super easy, and if you use parchment paper, there's practically zero cleanup.

I'm currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together stream ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 1:21 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. I have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on, got to move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music… This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. got a much more simple way. cook bacon on very low heat,it will start to sweat off all the fat and once there is enough fat turn heat to medium and bacon becomes crunchy and does not burn

I'm heading to the kitchen now to cook a whole package of bacon in water.😋

UPDATE: I cooked the bacon in water and I'm not sure it's worth the effort for me. I still prefer my way: remove all of the bacon from the package without separating the slices. Cut the "slab" of bacon in half with a sharp knife. Separate the slices and drop into a dutch oven. Cook the bacon on medium heat while stirring until light brown and still slightly tender. Remove to a plate covered with paper towels to drain. The bacon will be "curly" but tastes the same as "flat" bacon. Personally, I think the secret to great tasting bacon, no matter which cooking method is used, is to start with good quality bacon without additives and then don't overcook it.
