Stacy, I have just received my Fissler Pressure cooker. Having trouble finding cooking times for stovetop cookers. Are they the same as for electric pressure cookers?

I ordered the 10 Qt Fissler this week. I grew tire of the old Mirro aluminum pot since it can easily create some burnt stew on the bottom because it lacks any disk on the base. I'll hold on to it but I have wanted the ability to make much larger batches of stew in the pressure cooker and I found out that you cant use the whole pots volume making stew one day. OOPS. I too hate the latest flash in the pan (no pun intended) instapots. I think they will be the staple of yard sales in a few years.

Wear rubber gloves like they have for doctors and nurses. I hate chicken slime too. I use them and it's great. I leave mine on through the process and wash my hands like I don't have gloves on so that I do not contaminate anything and I only have to use one pair. They have size small at Walgreens. Other brands just have one size fits all or they are always out of small. 🙂

I think you should be on a real life cooking show because you are so fun to listen to and watch. Great video and tips. I needed help because my instant pot whole chicken tasted super bland. Anyways you are so funny to watch.
