LOL failed. @4:50 look at him struggling to keep a straight face, if it was actually good the face would have lit up instantly.
chuck roast is chewy for sure if you don't cook it right.
It needs to be overcooked at low temp so that all the marbling becomes gelatin. Then it's super soft and gooey.
Look up "poor man's burnt ends". you want to make a variation of that whenever you cook chuck.
Otherwise, buy skirt steak if you're new to grilling meats.
That's the beginner meat that no one can ruin without buying expensive cuts like ribeyes or fillets.

I Got a question, is there a particular location I Should Put The Grill Probe Clip thermometer? I Noticed You Have It about 4-5 inches away From The Slow 'N Sear, Is that the best location for a Accurate Pit Temperature Read, it doesn't matter IYHO? I Have The ThermoWorks® Smoke™ Remote BBQ Alarm Thermometer Thanks Brotha!

When a younger woman, I was a single Mom of a hungry son and we couldn't afford steak. Soonce in a while I would buy chuck roast. I fileted it to get a thinner steak and grilled it on my old Weber grill. Best steak I've ever had! The got wise at the grocery and chuck got pretty high there for a while! Great steak tho..

I love grilled chuck. It's cheap, experiment and enjoy. I'm going to try the sear first then wrap in foil with green onions and go indirect while I cook other stuff on the hot side.
