    I just canned some wild rice and mushroom chicken soup and then panicked because everyone got upset at me for the rice. Then they got REALLY upset when I showed them my chicken noodle.

    I noticed you didn't have a pound pressure gauge on your cooker do you really need to use it I'm in Florida some videos told me 10 lb some told me 11 lb maybe you can help me out just getting into pressure canning so getting used to it but I have a gauge on my Nat tells me 10 or 11 lb

    I have plenty of ball jars and some lids but since I am in Europe I have decided to switch over to the Weck jars. I can get them for dirt cheap. The prices on the jars and lids have shot up ridiculously that I don’t want to pay those prices. Your chicken soup looks really good. So perhaps the key is a better egg noodle, I’m going to have a look around. Did you say you want to can Mac & cheese? Omg I just posted something about this in the canning group on fb. Do you use powdered milk and powdered cheese? I’m wondering if I can use just the powdered milk and Velveeta cheese mixed. Thanks for sharing and take care.

    I'm new to canning & when I couldnt find lids I went to Ball official site & ordered lids not knowing that they did not sell lids or jars. I heard about it after I ordered lids, so I got the lids today took about 2 weeks & they came from china. So I am testing them canning water in Pressure canner to see if they will seal, I hope they work good, if not a lesson learned is all i can say, they look ok we will see.
