Being honest with you both IN LOVE (because I do love you AND Mr. Theo SO MUCH, and I really value your advice), I would be concerned the ambient noise like what occurred during this video could be distracting for your invited guests who are being interviewed, but also distracting while acting in the role of interviewer. Even seasoned pros like Amy might have a bit of nervousness when being interviewed for a podcast or video, and ambient noise when you're under pressure can be distracting and cause some to lose their focus. I could tell at a couple of points in the interview, Amy lost her train of thought . . . not sure if it was due to the noise distractions or not (if she even heard them), but it is something to think about for you both as you reach out in a professional capacity to get wisdom from other Keto experts to pass along for the benefit of your viewers. We are indeed living through a very challenging time, and I understand your circumstances as to child care. I'm not in any way meaning to be unkind, but just wanted to be honest with you. Thanks for all you do. Love you guys!! <3

This helped me feel ok if I eat a carrot or some onions. I don't eat ANYTHING that's not keto or low carb. I need to let myself if it happens and be ok with it. I tend to be over the top with allowing even a little that's not "keto". NO fruit for 2 years.

Okay. I love kids. I love Theo. But…please don’t bring in a hard toy for him to bang on. That hurt my ears & head and shocked me every time because I was listening while doing chores. 💕💕

Omg I feel the same way I’ve been keto for 2 years now I’ve lost 100 pounds and ever since all this has happened I’m not on keto and I feel so horrible about it! I’m still working out and trying to keep it pretty low carb but I’m struggling to stay keto bc I don’t want to keep yo-yoing my body in and out of ketosis and ugh I’m just frustrated at this point !

I found this interview highly interesting and informative! A few things mentioned (eating at a surplus once in a while, having “cheat” meals to jump start things) I’ve noticed anecdotal evidence of working for myself! Loving these interviews! And don’t worry about Theo (or Julius)…his presence adds flavor and realness!

I feel like in about 15 years, Theo will own YouTube!

My trigger is popcorn and I have found that if I budget my macros to allow for a little bit of Smartfood popcorn (2 cups) once a week or so, it makes it possible for me to stick to a stricter keto the rest of the time without creating cravings. I'm doing 20 g net carbs, since Jan 2020 and I've lost about 30 pounds (I don't have a scale but my clothes are MUCH looser!)

Hi! This was great. I’m a high school teacher and am suddenly at home all the time, and pretty stressed out right now. I’ve lost 60 lbs over the last year BUT- over the last month or so, have gained back 10-15lbs. Today we got notice that school is out “indefinitely”. I’d like to use this time going forward to recalibrate. Any suggestions of how I should get back to the Keto lifestyle? Much appreciated 😊

I started in June of last year with Salad and Avacado 2X a day 1 month later I was down 25 pounds. Second phase went to 2 meals a day after 1pm . 2 months later I am down 15 lbs more . I am now down from 217 to 180's for the last 4 months. My ketones were .3 for weeks I was discouraged but was so used to the carb eliminated diet that I don't even think about complex carbs and I used to not live with out them. Then all of a sudden I'm getting ketones back last measured at 2.3 wow. This was very insightful just like you guys are. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Watching this while eating my 4pm salad : 4c mixed greens & arugula with 4 olives, 1 pepperoncini, 1T seeds, nutritional yeast,
Homemade vinaigrette with healthy oil. I eat it because I love it ! I make room for it in my carb allowance & I’ve lost 45lbs since last July. Only 20 to go and I plan on eating this way for the remaining 20 or so years I have left. I only wish I had found this lifestyle 40 years ago. How much better my life would have been!

One thing that I strongly believe in is to figure out what works for you in terms of weight loss, to weigh yourself at the beginning of your weight loss journey, but to not weigh yourself frequently along the way. People see that I’ve lost a ton of weight and they ask me how much I’ve lost, (they say that it appears to be at least 50 pounds) and I don’t know and I really don’t care until I reach my ideal body composition. What I do every day however is look at myself in the mirror. I can see it in my face, my neck, and my fingers immediately if I’ve gained fat or haven’t lost fat. I think that weighing yourself frequently can be counterproductive, because the scale is not an accurate measurement of body composition, and I don’t care about weight, I care about body composition. No matter what I weigh at my ideal body composition, I’ll be happy with it. If you’re goal is to measure fat loss, you’re better off measuring your waistline and your neck as that will tell you what you really want to know which is your body fat percentage and whether you’re losing fat.

Your little one is adorable. Never think you can't have that little person in your blogs. Thank you for having Amy on. Right now, with all of the virus panic and binge eating.. I haven't lost an ounce, but I haven't gained either. That's amazing in my book and I'll just pat myself on the back and be grateful.

This came at such a perfect time for me. Been doing low carb keto for 1.5 years. Definitely stalled for a few months. Then started to go up in weight while still eating exactly the same amount of food. Not eating anymore calories or carbs. So I don’t know what was going on. But this video was so informative!

I lost 65 lbs and reached my goal weight on keto. Then I thought I could add back nuts, seeds, and berries. I became obsessed with those, ate too much of them, had cravings again, and gained weight. I just can’t eat those foods; I need to stay keto to maintain my weight and cravings.
