Hi Mary, the way you teach viewers is just superb! I love the way you give substitutes for the ingredients and tell us not to worry about this and that whilst your demonstrating. It gives such confidence to your viewers to give it a go. Iโ€™m so glad I found your videos.

P.s. recipe idea for you Mary.
Make a flakey pie crust with 1 egg, then roll out, butter pie crust sprinkle with
Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, chopped Pecans, dot with butter.
Roll up a long log, then make slices like Cinomin rolls then with rolling pin roll each roll flat, be sure you flatten each roll.
Then bake until lightly brown, these are called Elephant Ears!!! Have fun Mary.

At 4:02, you made my day. I'm always a little hesitant about what "all purpose flour" is, and you totally made it clear. Thanks so much for this recipe too. I am going to try it out. No buttermilk, but you've given us help with that too ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you. Stay well.

Hi Mary, I am so thankful you posted this video. I am out of yeast and canโ€™t find any. I have some ordered but it will not be in anywhere from April 9 to April 16. I have all the ingredients to make the Soda Bread. I am making it this afternoon. So excited to see how it turns out. Thank you so much. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅ–๐Ÿž

    Guten Tag.! Mary,
Thank you for this receipe. Good to know about the soda. Especially this curfew time in case we ran out of yeast. I did last and the shops didnt have anymore. Because of the contamination risk, I think many are baking their own bread. The dried yeast was out in all the shops around me, until this week no where to be found. We get the cube but good to have your receipe. I am cooking the chicken soup right now. I am cooking traditional to keep healthy. We are past 60 and considered high risk. I wish you good health. Thank you for your wonderful receipe.

Hi Mary, hope you are well! Steve the artisanbreadwithsteve done that baking trick 4 yrs ago. But instead of using cake tin he used two loaf tins and clipped them on the ends with those stationary metal clips. Here is his link. Maybe this is what you saw? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQtsvPlE7w8 This was the first loaf i ever baked, then your soft sandwich one (double loaf) which is our favourite so far.. (Only started about 3 weeks ago lol) Thanks for all the information you throw out in your videos, in regards to different products to use. It helps people like me learn so quickly. I unfortunately bought a bulk of baking powder thinking that that is what i would need. Got one for mum too.. (sad face. It's about 1kg. ) Now i know i should of first got bi-carb of soda lol .. anyway live and learn. Thanks again ..love from Oz .. will definitely watch your baking powder videos lol … God bless you and your loved ones.
