I had a dream I met you guys on a pier cooking food by the ocean. You were making “gugalachatta” which looked like some kind of sausages that you had put in a marinade (brats AND Vienna) with a mixture of beans/cheese and a dark sauce on various buns. Was phenomenal. Weird stuff, not sure what to think about you guys making cameo appearances in my dreams.

{Day 5} Guga, i have a request for you. So you know "Rendang" right? That's an Indonesian dish that made out of meat. Usually we use cheap meat. But can you make one with a Japanese Wagyu A5? Will be very appreciated. 😁

One minor gripe, if I may add to this: Depending on your heat source, pouring high proof alcohol straight from the bottle into your pan while it's on the heat is a dangerous habit, and I feel like you should adress this in the future Guga. Other than that, the steak looks absolutely delicious in both versions!

A meal like this check all the boxes, meat, potatoes, mushrooms, onion with fatty salty, creamy sauce!
Guga you gotta try Hasselback potatoes sometime as a side, i usually brush with garlic butter and grade some nice cheese on top in the end!

Love the videos. I had an idea for a dry age experiment: Powdered pringles. They're available everywhere, super-cheap, and come in lots of flavors. I'd love to know if they can be used to improve a steak.

the whole recipie is nice and all, but the fond of the pan turn pitch black, wich mean not only that is burnt, but that the beef flavor are gone. using avocado or any high temperature oil surely sear the meat but burn evrything else.
