The hotpot will taste a lot better if you pan fry the spicy broth block until it melts before you pour water on it. Also look for the ingredients in it, the blocks made from beef fat is better tasting and more authentic than the vegetable oil ones. ADD THE WHOLE BLOCK itโs so spicy but so good!

You're absolutely right about the amount of prep work, and plus my family would typically do a hotpot+kbbq combo so the washing the dishes is a nightmare too. But never stop us from coming back again and again though, lol
