I find at my Aldi (inside) that the paper products or their brand ziploc are cheaper than my Walmart market and of course fruit and veggies are cheaper but sometimes not necessarily looking better 🤷🏼‍♀️ But usually I can pick out some good looking produce at Aldi. Majority of stuff I get at Walmart. My kids like the frozen chicken tenders and those frozen breaded chicken breasts at Aldi but they’ve been out almost every time I’ve been. Love Jorden Page! We have stocked freezers and pantry. Thank God! With prices on groceries and gas continuing to rise, especially when you pay attention to the increases & price match…ugh…it’s horrible to think about with people on a very strict budget and fixed income! 😞 🙏🏼

Hi Tiffany! Was wanting to know how your Walmart is there as far as being stocked. Here where I live in Ohio our Walmart has had ALOT of empty shelves! I had to change our meal plan four times!

We’re doing the same thing stocking up on everything and just did for our chicken and dog food. I’ve already started buying my sons clothesshoes for summer in case they are hard to find bc of the trucker situation

Loved your tips. I do something similar but we go every two weeks. A month feels overwhelming to me right now. We are a family of four with a three year old and eight month old in a small house. I plan 10 meals for dinners and then several staple lunch and breakfast that we just do what sounds good that day. I only plan ten because of leftovers and Sundays we have a family dinner with relatives. I completely respect you not showing your kids anymore however, my three year old little boy named Jack keeps asking we’re Wilder is? Lol He loved watching your channel with me. He kept asking me if we could go visit you. He loves your backyard playground. So tell Wilder Jack says hi!

So crazy the things that aren’t available right now. I haven’t had too much trouble finding chicken in grocery store ( I shop Kroger or Aldi), but crazy things like pasta and noodles. Twice in a month I’ve ordered and are unable to get what I wanted. Noodles? I shop every 2-3 weeks because it’s just me, I go for fresh fruits and veg, because it will go bad before I can eat most of it fast enough. I’ve been ordering a lot of frozen stuff, because I got a new freezer in December after mine died, and I’m needing to stock it. It’s a juggling act sometimes. I don’t have or need a strict budget per se, but generally spend $250-$300 per 3 weeks. We have a local meat market that I’ve shopped at for years, and most of the time the meat is fresher and less expensive than grocery store. Plus I like to look at and hand pick my meats. One thing I love about them ,especially being a 1 person household, is that the save the butt ends of their hams and bologna’s when they trim them up for slicing, then sell these pieces at greatly reduced prices. It’s great for making ground sandwich spreads, or chopping for casseroles or soups. I love it- nothings wasted.

Hello, I have been watching your recent vids. I wanted to know about freeze drying. Would you mind answering the following questions… Do you use mylar for storing foods? If so, how long does that keep? Can you recommend a freeze dryer? And a any other essentials to have for long term food storing? My apologies if this is not the place for this. Thank you 😁

Your hair is adorable, curly or straight. You did a great job! Question, do you ever have issues with the Walmart app? Ever since they changed it a few months ago…the app always gives me issues.
Didn't you say the same thing last time "you had that feeling you needed to stock up" and BOOM a world pandemic happened?? Listen to your gut feeling, cause you never know. 🤷

I had a family of 10, as they got older and were home all day homeschooling and cooking for themselves (I went back to work 2-3 days a week), I started doing a monthly inventory of freezers/pantry when making my grocery list. I also menu planned for two weeks because we simply could not fit all of the cold items with one fridge. I only have 4 adults and two teens still at home these days. 😊

I’ve been feeling the same sensitivity to what’s going on in the country, as it relates to my groceries. I always have a back stock, but I’m thinking maybe we need to do more?!? It’s kind of scary, honestly. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone.

Great video!! I have been watching you for a long time and we shop similarly except I have been doing weekly or biweekly grocery shopping since my kids became a group of big hungry teenagers. Recently our oldest moved out and it was so fun taking him to the grocery store for his first stockup, he was price conscious and even compared price per unit on some things and it just made my mom heart so proud. ❤

I agree with you now is not the time to do a clean out obviously if you find something that's going to go bad use it but definitely don't deplete the stock if anything stock up. Take care large family!

I have felt the same as far as my pantry storage, I don't feel comfortable to use it all up to start fresh @ this time in the world everything changes daily & prices as well. I feel as its our family security blanket @ the moment; it stresses me out to think of using it up to a start fresh.

I love how you have your chalkboard for school. We do cyber/home school but I don't have a place for a chalkboard like that. I wish I was able to have room for one of those! Hope little sweet Wilder feels better. 💙 it's awful when the kids don't feel well. Your little easy breakfast sandwich looked good. Anything with eggs and cheese and bread to me tastes good lol I need to get my grocery budget under control. Things are so expensive and it does take some work to figure out. It seems like everything you pick up now days is at least 5 bucks each item.

We’ve raised our grocery budget specifically so we can continually replace any food we eat because we’re worried that if we eat through our stores we won’t be able to replace them soon.
