Snickerdoodles were my mom's favorite cookie. She would have loved this one. Super puffy in the center is exactly what she liked. I'll have to make this recipe in her memory. She had bad depression for at least the last decade of her life, so thank you for sharing this despite your own troubles.

Just want to say, Barry, how much I feel your pain. I've been through something similar in last couple of months – had plans, visions, was ready to make another step to make my dream come true, now everything is crushed to pieces and I am feeling down quite a lot. Even though it's hard as hell, you have your lovely family that has your back, so hug your girls and until all of you are healthy and together, then you can make your way through anything 🙂

there's even cinnamon on your bottom, and then talking about the cinnamon challenge, my brain got confused and said "thats a odd way to do the cinnamon challenge"

I’m a big fan of these. My wife occasionally makes them and they are one of the very few cookies that survives gluten-free and lactose-free changes. Nom.

Sorry to hear about the crowdfunder, but head does win out over heart these days. I’m sure you’ll bounce back.

What a shame about the pizzeria. That's a hard decision. Kudos to you for being honest and open about it.
The snickerdoodles look amazing! I made some a few years ago but they were nowhere near as good looking as these, for some reason they didn't spread like they should.

it's clear how much the pizzeria meant to you and it must have been a devastating decision to make but at the end of the day, you've obviously considered it long and hard and only you know what the right decision is. Who knows, maybe in a few years time, the world will be back to rights (or some semblance of it) and you'll be able to come back bigger and better and pizza-ier <3
