Do you have to add any extra water? Because I went by your directions but have way less in my pot than you do. It's still practically at the bottom.

This is so cool! I'm always either intimidated by making soup or I assume it will take all day to cook. I never thought of using the microwave to speed up the process. Genius!

we just had a chicken and veggie soup and the next day we added macaroni pasta (plain) and it was so good!
Just a tip, freeze all the leftover chicken/turkey bones and on a slow day (haha) set it up for a batch of bone broth. Freeze it in batches and use instead of chicken stock. Tons of goodness from throwaway food.
Hope your Aldi is stocked when you do your next run. Here in Florida, we are having problems with no stock in the warehouse. My Aldi run on Sat was a bust and had to fill in with Publix $$$
