Praying you are feeling like your old self soon. A lot of stuff going around right now, so take care. This looks so good. I'm going to make some tomorrow. I don't have barley, but it will be good anyway. Any good soup will taste good in this cold and snowy weather we are having. God be with you and touch you with His healing touch.

I had to smile I made almost the same soup yesterday. I had left over pork roast to I used that with the juices. I used my canned beef stock 4 pints but I also but in a gal. of water. I never add salt to the end because I but in Better Than Bouillon roasted beef to taste and a bit of Kitchen Bouquet. No potatoes but I did have some little noodles I put in. I will have to try barley. Hope you feel better I have the same thing and I am miles from you:) No rest for us have to keep going always things to do:) That's why were the stronger sex! Sorry but true. God Bless and get well!
Thank you for bringing that beef barley soup I haven't had it for years had forgotten completely about it. We are having cold weather here in Ohio at least off and on, this looks like something to go on the menu for over the weekend or next week, I'm glad you said about rinsing barley I had forgotten about that also, prayers for you all around Vicki will watch you whenever you're able and whenever you have a chance. If you all get well and do better.

omGOODNESS!! i'm SO glad you're back!! I was about to try to email Ms Lori to ask her if you were alright. I'm sorry you've had such a tough time lately, but I'm glad you're able to talk to us! I just made chicken bone broth and chicken soup yesterday. Sooooo good. I wish we could get beef bones here in CA at a decent price. It's outrageous here! Anyway, I hope you and Brian continue to improve ๐
