I make this at home!!! Nice to see someone showing real comfort food with egg and all!!! Your' s looks a little darker than mine? ! Is this more Hongkong style? Just asking!
IMO, Turkey congee is the best part of Thanksgiving.
you are just fantastic wish you a happy christmas and a super coming 2021
Love this. We waste so much food because we don’t think about the second usages of thanksgiving. Please do another video like this for post current holiday season meals. 😀
I love congee and it’s my go to comfort food. I love its versatility and how you could almost put anything on top and not go wrong
This sounds AMAZING. I had thanksgiving with my mom and brother, luckily they live pretty close by. I made sure to claim the turkey carcass so that I can try and make this. Thank you so much for sharing!! 💖
I love people who put yummy things like onions in the crevasse of poultry 🤗🤗🤗 my favourite combo is mirepoix plus an apple in chickens 🙌🏾
Thank you for directing me to your account here (from Tiktok). These videos are absolutely amazing. Thank you. I am definitely making & storing this.
Could you do a kimchi video if you have the time!
I don’t know why, but I cried while watching this. 🥰 everything your said was just so spot on. Hope you, and all of us, get to see our families soon. In the meantime, I’ll be trying this recipe this year. Thank you!
I love your videos!! What size is your Dutch oven?? I want to get one and can’t decide. I want it small enough that I can handle it on my own when it’s full but big enough to at least fit a whole chicken. Yours fits two!
What are your fixings? You have such a calming voice. Thank you for sharing. <3
This looks absolutely amazing! What is the third thing you add before the chilli? Is that pickled ginger or kimchi, or something else entirely?
that first bit, where you pull out turkey legs and subsequently all the meat, the music beat hits right in, like a ceremony of death
Thanks for sharing; looks delicious! 🤤
Dude your videos have completely reignited my love for cooking! I fell in love with Cantonese food on my first trip to Hong Kong and I had never even considered learning the techniques and history behind it until I came across your TikToks. It’s been such a fun and rewarding process ☺️
great video as always
I and turkey congee for my coworkers after thanksgiving last yet and they loved it.
Another thing, I’ve been trying to learn more about asian ingredients but I watch a lot of chinese channels that don’t translate well to english. Can you do a video on dried ingredients you can buy at the asian market? How to use? Love your content, warm hugs from south america 🙂
Can you do a kitchen / dinning area video?
I’ve never had this but damn!!! I must try!
I always love seeing your genuine reactions when you eat something you’ve cooked. You’ve got this joy that slowly spreads over your face and it’s contagious!
Great job! Keep up the good work.
Your making my mouth water 🤤. That looks sooooo good. I wanna bake a turkey just so I can try this recipe. Definitely saving this video for later when I do have a turkey cooked. Thanks for the tip😋
Good video. Love a cozy congee. The way you’re speaking though sounds like a script with lots of periods where they shouldn’t be. Aesthetically nice but lacking natural word flow. Other that good stuff.
What was the last condiment that you added?
I’ve been wanting to try congee for ages I’m so excited for this!!
congee me loves
Bro really thinks China is safer than where ever he is LMAO, if you live on the main land you’re a cockroach to the government and if you live in honking you’re fighting for yourlife against a government that actually wants to kill the general public that aren’t controllable
Another masterpiece! I am not a turkey fan but I think this would but awesome with chicken!!!
Being safe and healthy during this pandemic is definitely worth giving thanks for. And congee is my favourite comfort food (I love a good Pei Dan Joke, hehe). I notice you often cook big batches of food. Do you store them for subsequent meals or serve them to other guests?
This will be great depression meal
Yup. I do a similar thing. My grandma taught me to throw in some dried scallops, and dried shitaki. And of course, if you got any edgy parts of the leftover ham, its a great way to add that salt and umami.

i love this so much!!
