You asked what my favorite present was. Well I am facing back surgery on the 19th of January. I had a small heating pad, it measured 7 inches square. My husband got me a big xl one that measures 2 feet by 3 feet. It covers all the spaces I need it to. โค feeling blessed.
Just remember to buy valentines gifts and candy early this year ๐
I think having your kids buy gifts for their siblings is a great idea ๐

We did the wood slice ornaments this year. Just printed pictures cropped to fit the circle on regular paper, and put a layer of Modge Podge glue down first and another on top of the picture. Turned out great!

I wish I had happy memories, traditions and christmas magic and all that, but my family is pretty much as dysfunctional as they come – so for me, christmas has never been this wonderful, happy time, more like a month of slowly sinking into the darkest depression hole. But I'm kind of building my own traditions by watching others and seeing how it should or could be, and then picking and choosing what I like and what fits my household ๐
