    Way easier & quicker way to make the cashew cream (Cook's Illustrated method): pulverize the cashews in the blender until sandy, then add the water, blend to combine, then let sit for 15 minutes before blending until smooth. And it gets so much smoother than soaking the cashews first– it really is the closest you can get to dairy.

    Love the recipes Babish! Quick note though, if you added a quarter cup of chia seeds to that oatmeal, there's no way its only 366 calories unless you used some special chia seeds i didnt know about. The chia seeds alone would be 450 calories.
