Happy Thanksgiving PBD !! Thanks to you and Tim, we ate the recommended lentil loaf with Joey’s topping (you are so right! It stays together so well), wonderful stuffing and the awesome cranberry sauce that Tim showed us. YUP, we had a PBD dinner! I watched your videos and thought- Gosh, I have all that stuff in house right now, so I spontaneously made Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and I on Tuesday. I work overnights at the hospital, so I couldn’t be celebrating with extended family this year. Love all that you guys do!! If Tim could just make us a loaf of that sourdough bread, I’d pay for it !!!!

All of your food looks so delicious. I made your corn casserole recipe. It was very good with the jalapeno peppers. Today we put up Christmas trees and decor. Yay! I love your white tree. Really pretty.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! We had dinner with family and friends (not everyone is SS/vegan). We started with Eggless Egg Nog from The Jaroudi Family YouTube channel. Mixed results – most loved it, but 2 omnivores prefer the real eggnog. There was turkey – what can I say? Mixed group. I made mashed potatoes, mashed with cooking water, Better Than Bullion, garlic powder, onion powder, nutritional yeast and a squirt of mustard. Results – everybody ate it. I made a mushroom gravy using blended navy beans for the starch and seasoned with thyme, sage rosemary using sauteed onions and mushrooms. Heavy on thyme and mushrooms – everybody enjoyed it, especially with cranberry sauce. I made my version of stovetop stuffing, SS compliant. No leftovers for that. I made collard greens with onions and tart cherries – mixed results on that. Some people refuse to eat collard greens. Others brought some veggies – crudites with a purchased dip, corn, succotash, green bean casserole… We had a purchased pumpkin pie, banana bread, pumpkin bread and dinner rolls. It was a pitch-in. There was wine. Some wanted just to go home and sleep it off!

All of your dishes look sooo good! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family and food here. You make a difference in our plant based world. Certainly PBD’s are one of the things I am thankful for.
What did I make? I made stuffing, mushroom gravy, IP russet potato, and baked tofu slices to take with me to dinner as the only plant based person. My dil’s mom made a couple special things for me! Baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon, pasta with a no oil sauce made with cashews, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and spinach, and spring mix salad with pears and balsamic vinegar. Fresh blueberries and raspberries after dinner with a vegan chocolate chip scone made by my dil. I’m grateful to have shared this Thanksgiving with my family and my dil’s family. It was even more special because my first grandchild, 4 months old, was having his first Thanksgiving with us all.

I'm grateful for you guys! Thanks for sharing your holiday with us. I had WEIRD outcomes with my food this year. I tried pumpkin corn muffins…terrible. Garlic mashed potatoes in the InstantPot, good lord – do NOT use store bought minced garlic in this…disgusting. Green bean, cranberry, and quinoa salad – the tahini/mustard dressing was too thick by a mile! Yikes. I made a lot of notes and will redo these recipes in the future in a different way, but it's a good thing my green salad was delicious. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving! We just had a family dinner with our three sons and daughter-in-law. I'm the only one who's plant based, so they had the regular turkey dinner etc. I had a baked potato, cranberry sauce, gravy, and made your stuffing (amazing!). My daughter-in-law also brought acorn squash stuffed with Moroccan spiced quinoa. I made a pumpkin/chocolate chip loaf for dessert.
