    Hello, '"Hands That Cook".
This popped up on my subscription list this afternoon. One thing I like to do is get a ham on sale, divide it, freeze it, then add to my beans later. I recently divided a pack of ham hocks into about 5 – 6 parts. They've helped stretch my budget many times. Thankfully, we love beans of almost any kind.
Keep sharing your love for cooking, Mam. It seems you've helped a lot of folks in the past with your knowledge.

This is definitely a 'Flup' Soup. So 'Full-Up' with ingredients there's no room for any more lol, a term that was born in our house years ago when I was little, it came from a joke my Daddy told us, and just became part of Family Speak for any soup that hardly had room for the soup. Looks Delicious!

Your bean & ham soup looks delicious! Thank you for sharing your recipe. You have gained a new subscriber.

I was gifted a half a ham (bone-in) for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I plan to use the bone for soup, too. Although there are so many different recipes out there, I just use what ingredients I have on hand that compliments beans and ham really well. With that said, I will write down your recipe and save it to try later on.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🙂

This will be a great fall recipe! As soon as I get a ham I'll have to try it. The thought had crossed my mind for about 2 seconds to just use spam, but I seriously doubt the taste would compare.

+handsthatcook your pressure cooker dial/control setting looks exactly like mine. Mine is a Wolfgang Puck Brand electric pressure cooker. Do you mind telling me what kind you are using in this video.
Your soup looks delicious! I love making 15 bean soup! As soon as I can find a hambone I'm making this in my pressure cooker

The soup loses a lot without the bone. Even using cubed ham will never have the same flavor as a bone. All that nice marrow and tissue in the broth adds more to the soup than people would think.

Hi there – I have been watching you for about a year now and just love your recipes and the videos — and your taster's input. Know this one was posted quite a bit ago but wanted to revisit your recipe on the bean soup. Have shared with a good friend as well. Appreciate your sharing..
