Has anyone ever tried using the crock pot. It cooks while you are at church. 5-6 hours on low or 3-5 hours on high will catch it. No water added to the crock pot…trust me! Delish and falls off the bone if you heat it long enough.

I agree, no spiral hams. 1. A waste of money, and 2. They dry out. I like to cut my own hams. Sometimes I want a thick slice for a sandwich and for breakfast a lot of smaller pieces, crispy fried with sunnyside or over easy eggs 🥚. Then about the third day, after freezing differents cuts, make some great ham hash… A large ham is so versatile.

Up here they raise the price as Easter grows near 🙁 Thanks for the lovely video. I've never heard of cooking a ham for two hours at 400. My Mom just warmed it up at low temperature with cloves in it. I'll have to try it your way : )

Your ham looks wonderful🥰❣️🥰. BTW…. Hurst Beans are packaged in Indianapolis. Their old building is right behind Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis COLTS🏈🏈🏈

Ham n Cabbage is my favorite to make with the leftovers.
My granny used to make ham salad. She would put that left over ham through the meat grinder and make a spread out of it with pickle relish and her own mayo and boy that was so good on a big warm slice of homemade bread.

I love your videos. I love the way that you cook…the good old fashioned way that makes everything taste good. So many "helpful" hints in the comments…you would think that it was their cooking video.

It is such a blessing to watch you cook. I look forward to each time I can see you prepare such delicious food. Most importantly, you are an inspiration to me. You make me laugh with your stories, you share the Lord, and remind me of my grandmother, who has been with Jesus since 2000. She was born and raised in Clinton County Kentucky. She married my grandfather and moved to east central Indiana. Again, you are so sweet, loving, and such a joy to spend time with.

Ms. Gannt, there is nothing like one of those hams on a holiday! I have started snitching my husband's heat resistant grilling gloves to pick up those large, hot cuts of meat right out of the pan. It has made things so much easier in the kitchen when I am working alone. I think I ordered his gloves on Amazon for him years ago, but I am pretty sure most big box stores sell them now. I hope that will help you! Have a blessed Easter! 💜
