The Brownies look delish. You can add vegetables to the instant noodles to make it more palatable. Frozen pizzas are good to stock up on while on sale. I do that and have them on stand by

ยฃ35 doesn't sound much when when converted to Australian dollars that $64, which is the same as I've been averaging for 4 adults since the start of September. We've been doing our annual eat the fridge, freezer and pantry down so I can give them a deep clean.

Sweetie, you sure sound like you could have a Covid variant. Lambda, Mu and Delta have similar symptoms. It feels like a bad cold, but with more fatigue. My grandson got Delta twice in 30 days. I hope you are staying hydrated and getting rest. God bless you.

Hope you continue to feel better. This "i don't wanna cook!" feeling is going around. Times like these call for eggs, soup, sandwiches, things tossed into the crockpot/IP/etc or my usual…a sheet pan full of whatever and baked in the oven.

If you have a crock pot, dinner can be put together early in the day, and done by dinner time. Breakfast can be made in a crock pot and cooked on low over night too. When I was working, I had dinner in the crock pot before I went to work and it was such a pleasure to come home to a hot meal, then I just had to add a veggie or salad and dinner was served. Using a slow cooker is a real friend in the kitchen whether you are single, a couple, a big family or anything in between. If you have a large one, you can easily roast a chicken or other meat for more than one meal. tfs hope you feel better soon. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ›โœ๏ธ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ›โœ๏ธ I love my Instant Pot too ๐Ÿ™‚ You can roast the sweet potatoes in the oven. Just scrub, cut and roast in your oven, Easy and roasting really brings out the sweet deliciousness of the potatoes. You can also do this with carrots too. Roasting retains the vitamins. Sheet pan recipes are something you might want to try too ๐Ÿ™‚

The rice and beans mixture looks yummy.
Are you cleaning out the pantry so you can buy new stuff? I've been slowly building up a pantry and I'm glad I did due to the coming food shortages and rising prices.

Could you plan for a frozen pizza style meal night? We do that and i tend to use them on the nights where you don't have motivation to cook. We do homemade pizzas some Saturdays instead of take away when we've got more time to prep it all. Glad I'm not the only one who lack's motivation to cook after working all day!

BY late afternoon, I feel just as you do at present, just too tired to prepare vegetables. For me this is a danger point as I am more likely to eat sweet things. I now try to prepare all my vegetables in the morning. Potatoes in cold water and other veg in ziploc bags in the fridge. This is particularly good if you have to be out in the afternoon and this time of the year, you arrive home cold, tired, and hungry.
