There are two kinds of brisket: BBQ (mostly southern mid-west) and non-BBQ (mostly north-eastern). Different techniques, but equally delicious. And it's versatile in preserving, since you can brine it to corned beef, or take it further and smoke it to pastrami.

How are people supposed to follow the recipe if there are no complete instructions? One of the most relevant aspects of the cooking is missing. What is the oven temperature, and for how long?
    Half useless.

Gordon, I’m one of your biggest fans but sweet baby Jesus, that is not BBQ. It’s not a Texas thing. It’s not even an American thing. It’s a global thing.

He used American beer, he might as well make it like an American and smoke it next time! C'mon Gordon this is a disgrace! Give the people a true American BBQ Brisket, give it your own English touch, just don't botch it next time.
