    Dear Gordon,

while I am a big fan and consider you a cooking god- salty water does not boil quicker, I am sorry
It needs more heat to get up to a boil than the fresh water hence the time is extended

Please tell me to fuck off

"I like to season the top AND the bottom of the water, I explain why in a minut"

    A minut later…

"I like to season the top of the water aswell so that its really, sort of, nicely seasoned"

    Ok copy that Chef

Growing up, I never really liked beef but I loved pasta. So when I started cooking for myself in college I started using ground turkey instead of beef and it's such a great substitute!

pan is way too hot, it's fucking burnt, also, there is too much saltin there and the fucking kilo of butter and a liter of cream… This is way too fat and overseasoned.

Saw this this morning, decided looked good for dinner. Well, just ate, and the whole family is happy. This one's a keeper. The key is definitely getting that good color on the shallots and onions.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation14:9-11)

Hey Gordon! As someone with a Bachelor's in Chemistry, I can say: Putting salt in water does not make it boil faster. Putting salt in water increases the water's boiling point, but salting it does not make the water boil any faster. With that being said, I'm sure it still tastes great!

surprised a world renowned chef doesnt know why to add salt to water for boiling, it doesnt make it faster, actually the opposite. salt raises the boiling temperature of water, so the water is hotter when it boils (over 100 degrees) but it takes longer.
