I don’t think equating the obvious problems of frozen food in restaurants like in kitchen nightmares is the same as this. Sure it has his name attached to it but I don’t think anyone is expecting microwave meals to be amazing

People, he's been sold out for a long time. Master Chef, Hells Kitchen, scripted TV shows, he's been sold out. Which I mean, if you got the chance to make boat loads of money for yourself and your family, go for it I guess

The thing is that he is anti-frozen foods when he is in a restaurant setting. Because in restaurants you are basically paying a preinum and Gordon always believed that restaurant owners/chefs should be cooking fresh most of the time. It's insulting paying 3-5x more for a dish when it is something not even fresh.

And these frozen foods are mostly going to be used in homes and families where cooking fresh is not a big deal.

Eating Frozen food at home is vastly different than paying someone to cook and they use food that's just heated up.

That isn't "selling out". If I'm paying 15 bucks for a meal at a restaraunt that is just frozen and pre-packaged stuff when they say it's made fresh, that's being dishonest to your customers and giving them a subpar product. Someone buying a frozen meal at walmart isn't scaming or decieving anyone – they're buying a meal for themselves when they don't feel like cooking or maybe don't have the time and resources to cook.

I think Gordon Ramsay isn't against frozen food, just frozen food being sold in restaurants were you go specifically for fresh foods. Honestly I think his frozen food line is good for people in lower income like myself to perhaps somewhat experience his cuisines.
