Have to fix the title. I always thought for it to be traditional scampi it must be in a butter wine sauce? Didn’t see any butter here. Also, tomato’s aren’t a traditional component as well. But mainly without butter it wouldn’t taste like scampi to me.

Gordon, your scampi is a bit too busy for my taste buds. I use angel hair pasta, first i salt the water to flavor the pasta, for a single serving like you made, i'd melt a qtr stick of butter with olive oil and a generous splash of white wine (dry) then id'd chop up the garlic leaving the pieces about the size of lemon seeds. then once the sauce has bled out all the alcohol i add some salt and crushed red pepper flake. finally, i cook the shrimp in the sauce while it reduces slightly. then i chop up a little fresh parsley and cherry tomatoes and serve with a sprinkle of fresh lemon juice. Your welcome.
