My family makes galatopita with milk, cornmeal, cottage and feta cheese, eggs, butter and salt. It is more of a cornbread consistency and goes well as a side dish.

Yesterday I made your galatopita. Absolutely divine Dimitra thank you so so much for a beautiful dessert. The only thing I did different was a added orange zest to the custard and the topping of egg and sugar I added a dash of cinnamon powder. It was a great hit with my family and friends. They loved it.
