I thought you were going to say (after you said the watermelon at stores is never very good) that we should grow our own which is a great idea! ( I wish you had clips of your garden.) We all need to become more self sufficient and stop relying on corporations for so much in your lives.

Bacteria is used in septic systems to reduce the acid wastes. Bacteria is not the villain like we've been told. If the Acid wastes weren't present, the bacteria wouldn't arrive to mitigate the problem. Don't believe your orthodox practitioner who says you need to kill the bacteria (which is just a symptom). Rather eliminate the cause of the problem which are the acid forming foods such as starches – including grains, meat, eggs and dairy
