#AMM Hey, Derek! Just wanna say, from one short vegan dude to another, you're a HUGE inspiration to me. My question is this: as a trans man who's two years on testosterone, should I be estimating my calories based off of male or female requirements to bulk? Currently, I just go with the halfway mark between the two, but I was wondering what your opinion as a nutritionist would be.

#AMM I would love to see your blood work, especially your cholesterol! Since you don't eat animal products or oil your cholesterol has to be the lowest level possible. BUT cholesterol isn't as bad as we've been told. Our veins and arteries are made out of cholesterol and our brain is like 80% cholesterol so it is needed but our liver produces it, we don't need to get it from food.

Oy! Simnett! 😃 Don’t forget to chop your greens first! Sulforaphane!!! (If you plan to cook greens – kale, collards, broccoli, etc. – start prep. by chopping the greens, then put them aside. That way, you won’t miss out on that sweet, sweet sulforaphane! The enzyme, myrosinase, that creates the sulforaphane, is destroyed with cooking, but already-formed sulforaphane is not. 😃 So, as Dr. Gregor says, chop your greens first!)

Hello. Random question do you guys use vegan/cruelty free house hold products and beauty products? I am busy looking into the face creams I use to try and figure out if they are vegan/cruelty free but I am not really sure what to look out for. I messaged the company and obviously they say they are but I can find them on any approved listing on the internet. Any way, not sure if this is a topic you would talk about on your channel. Thanks so much, I am learning so much from watching your videos and have started incorporating your advise into my lifestyle.

How exactly did you cook the potatoes in the pan? And was that meal for one person or two? Seems that you ate very few calories that day. I'm having a hard time eating enough calories on that lifestyle. Just doing it for a few days, also without oil like you explained.

Hi Derek, I know you say you don’t do illegal steroids, but what about TRT? I am 5ft 9 and I have lost 7 pounds in past two weeks with intermittent fasting and I’m about to add Calisthenics, but I’m curious if i need my TRT checked.. I’m 25 and have noticed decline in stamina and overall well being but that could just be from sedentary job/life. I’m not fat by no means but definitely it of shape. I was 183 two weeks ago and down to 176. Any recommendations would be awesome
