I saw the screenshot in recommended and thought to myself, "G*****n Martha, what you been doing, swimming in the fountain of youth?" Opened the video, saw Molly and was like, "Oh, okay, that makes more sense." For a split second there I was about to change my mind about plastic surgery or whatever the hell it was that (who I thought was) Martha had done to herself. I mean not that Martha doesn't look great how she is, but for a second I thought she had managed to shave off 20 years. Now there's some black magic I'd buy.

Here is another question…. with all that sugar in the butterscoth sauce, what purpose does powedered sugar in the cream cheese serve? It's just sugar on sugar in sugar… that sugar level in this thing is gotta be way too high.

I think this cake is too rich, and would tend to make a person sick. If it were just a standard 2 layer cake (hence less frosting in proportion to cake) It would be doable at that point.

I don't drink, so made egg nog with rum once, thinking rum liquor would taste like rum extract (Butter rum life savers flavor), and it was GHASTLY when I tasted it. Why would anyone use that crap? And why does rum extract taste totally different than rum in a bottle. The extract has alcohol in it, too.

You should have shown how to make whatever you put on prior to the frosting. I would love if you'd put in the extra time to state the amounts needed. Some of the best cooking videos I have ever seen shows the list of items you need at the start. That way we can get a grocery list made without searching links.

I think my southern mama would have loved this cake. She loved butterscotch and pecans. It looks delicious.❤
