If you need more cabinet space for the new cookware, I'm the solution. My daughter and I were robbed of literally everything we owned. Precious memories included ,even my mothers Saladmaster cookware. My Heartland pattern dishes …everything. The reality that two of my sisters were a part of it breaks my heart. I obviously need prayer more than anything. 💔🙏

For those who can’t have salt … my mom used this salt substitute called “ No Salt “ as long as you put it in a regular salt shaker and did not tell my uncle ( Fads brother ) he did not know it was a salt substitute. If you mentioned it he would not use it.
I love fish. Most as long as no bones.
I also love avocado oil and I buy the real butter in a real small container because it’s mixed with either avocado oil or olive oil and there for has less cholesterol. I still use stick butter to bake with when I do bake.
I like gas more than electric stove but grew up on an electric stove and my ex and I had electric stove . He liked electric stoves

Now for two people in the store where those sauce packets are they have 90 second rice packets of various kinds. I love them.
My Mom used minute rice and nothing else which was fine and she used instant potatoes. Not a big fan of instant potatoes. But in a pinch works.
I use plain old jasmine rice when making a casserole or such.

The best way to cook and eat brown rice is to use an Instant Pot. It is so easy and simple to do. Place the brown rice in the pot with chicken or veggie stock and season to taste before setting the pot to cook. The rice comes out tender and full of flavor! It is much better than using the stovetop. Try it.

I love fish, but depending on the type of fish depends on how I cook it. For instance, Bass and catfish I like to fry it with flour and cornmeal. My husband liked trout any way it was cooked, as long as it was in front of him. Cod or halibut, I like to cook it in a skillet with butter and lemon, then add capers when it is almost done. Or wrap it in foil with butter and lemon and bake. I like to bake salmon. I would love to go back to Florida to that restaurant that had gar. I had never tasted it before, and it was so very very delicious!!

Cris, you mentioned using Tony Chachere's seasoning on fish. Well I was just ready to cook a whole chicken in my air fryer (better than Costco's rotisserie chicken) when you said you liked that on the fish. Well I smothered my chicken in it (no other seasoning) and it was the best chicken I have ever had! I have had that seasoning in my pantry for a couple months and didn't know what to do with it , until now, never tried it before! I will be using it on everything!!!! Thanks, Melaney from SoCal

Our entire clan loves seafood. My family and I LOVE sushi, too. Sashimi? If it's prepared right and safely.
My grandfather has some catfish ponds.
Our favorite times were having all the family over in the late morning, around 10 a.m. for a fish fry. Some of us would fish. Me included.
People would bring salads, slaw, other sides, desserts and drinks: sodas and sweet tea(house wine of the South). The fries and the hush puppies were fried in the deep fryer.
My family would bring our wooden hand cranked ice cream maker to make homemade peach ice cream from the peaches that were bought at the local fruit stand. (Our county was voted as having the best peaches in the state.)
When we had enough fish, they were broken down, skinned, battered and fried on the spot.
    I really miss those times.
