Love this idea. Will you be including a link? Hopefully it’s something I can do here in Australia. Would be perfect for my husband and I ( our two adult sons lived out a few years ago, so it’s just the two of us) as we both do shift work

I am incredibly impressed at all you were able to do in one afternoon stint of meal prep. I'm sure you will find certain recipes you and your family prefer but it's a great place to start. And you managed to get the kitchen in good shape afterwards which is always a daunting task for me. Wishing you all the most joy-filled blessed Christmas season.❤

Thanks for sharing your freezer cooking with us! I usually watch a couple different homestead youtubers do freezer meals. It was nice seeing someone else who doesn't do a ton of them.

Lauren, all in all I think you did an amazing job. You may be exhausted but look how many meals you have. I live by myself so this would have been good for me yrs ago. Love you Lauren. I’m happy you knew when you had had enough❤. PS your going to have your ups/downs for a long time and it’s ok. Don’t hold it in. Yrs ago I had 3 miscarriages. 1 affected me pretty bad; I still think of that little one and wonder what that baby would be today. Back in those time you did not talk about it. I held it inside😢 didn’t even talk about it to my husband. Glad times have changed. God Bless you Lauren. Take care. See you on your next video❤❤gayle

All the meal prepping is going to pay off in the coming months when Lauren and Mark are tired and needing quick and easy meals for the family in the early month of baby girls arrival. Plus it makes it simpler for any family who needs to come in to help with meals. I am a single woman and I prep most of my meats for single meals and pre-marinaded for easy cooking. I am going to prepare our Christmas meat with it's marinade and get it in the freezer now so all I have to do is pull it out a couple of days in advance to thaw in the fridge before cooking.

I think with these hyper simple bag or jar meals you get out what you put in. They are adequate if not slightly inadequate :). Looking forward to hearing how yours turned out though.

I would not wipe down my counter with that chemical wipe before prepping food on it – EVER – you are just adding literally industrial chemicals to your food. Love your channel though 🙂

My grandson is Bennett too❣️ I love when my little guy helps me cook…he feels so important knowing he’s helping GiGi prepare dinner, and is so proud once everyone’s eating and enjoying it!

For the future you can chop and freeze pepperss and onion for freezermeals when you have the time for it, and save some money that way. Look at Becky at Acre Homestead 🙂 But for the record, you are awsome doing this now 🙂

You can take empty food cans, clean out. Take your plastic bags and can to size. Put bag in can fold the top, zipper part, over the can. Fill close. You can freeze the whole thing or take the bag out

Laughed out loud at Everett kissing the camera! Your idea about dividing the meat (one time chicken, one time ham etc) was good. I hope after all this prep work you enjoy the meals. I am thinking I need to try black beans.
