Those beans look so tasty. I have started making beans in my newly acquired instant pot. It’s 6 quarts. I’ve only used pintos. I’m going to try the Great Northerns. Your cooking videos are fun and everything seems so easy to make.

This looks absolutely delicious, but I doubt I'll ever make it because 1) pressure cookers scare me and (more importantly) 2) my husband hates beans. I'm going to file it away though just in case. I'm sure I can get over my fear and it might be a nice treat on a cold rainy work day for lunch. Since it freezes well, I can have several lunches and then husband doesn't have to be bothered. Yes, that's a good plan.

It’s been raining here a lot lately too, it was supposed to be a storm the other day but it didn’t hit my area, we just had heavy rain. This isn’t my cup of tea (I only like certain beans) but I enjoy seeing you do extra videos. Plus I like seeing my DP (I hope that doesn’t sound conceited) because it’s covered up on your Sunday videos. It’s a nice surprise when you do these extra videos!

OMG, that looks right up my alley! Definitely going to try it! Ironically, I am making white chicken chili tonight. It’s probably the hottest day of the summer here in Michigan 😂. Watching all the Flosstubers stitching fall designs has finally won me over and put me in the mood for some hearty comfort food! Thank goodness for air conditioning! I love my Instant pot and can’t wait to try your recipe.

Hi Karla! Love the way this recipe looks. What does the olive oil do though in this recipe, just a little added flavor? I refuse to use a pressure cooker and mom just got rid of the InstaPot she had but I think she had 2. If so, will have to try this for sure. Thanks for sharing. I also noticed that you had the hair scrunchie that you crocheted in your hair and it looks great! Hugs to you and Baggy!
