I made the pancakes today. I don't like the sour taste of sourdough but do love it when it's not sour so I made the batter but didn't let it sit overnight. I just straight away made a ton of pancakes. When I read my notes for the recipe, I thought I wrote 180 g of starter but it was 60 with a wrinkle in the paper. So since I had screwed up and didn't have enough starter to go again, I just doubled the recipe and hoped I liked the pancakes. I DO! I'm so glad I made them even though it was a huge batch. I had two iron pans working and they are huge pancakes. I finished and stuck them all in the refrigerator for when the family gets back tomorrow and will get some buttermilk syrup made tomorrow. After eating 2 for supper, I know it will taste great on them. Thanks for your recipe. Next time I won't double it and will make waffles.
Just picked our Azure order up yesterday. 100 lbs thick rolled oats, 50 lbs corn meal, 50 lbs sorghum ( maybe 25? Can't remember), molasses, coconut flakes and protein powder. Should take care of Azure for us for the year. I've been using Azure for10 years.
I just moved to another state. My drop off pickup took me over four hours. That is ridiculous since I only live 27 miles away. Never again
Does anyone know why Azure’s white vinegar has an acidity of 11.6%? Isn’t the standard 5%?
