You guys did great! It's too bad you need to add more to your grocery budget. Sometimes I feel very angry about it because companies are making the biggest profits ever and we're paying for it. It wouldn't be so bad if their employees were given a living wage and excellent benefits not just health but educational too. . . benefits like they have in Europe. But I digress. I had to add more money too. But I'm not buying junk just healthy whole foods, so it's like a little extra layer of health insurance. If I can keep the groundhogs out of my garden and focus on foraging I'll actually be able to save quite a bit of money this summer. Plus I've decided instead of collecting house plants the rest of my indoor plants will be edible.
