I was in the image business for twenty years, and the one thing that really helps when you're doing a video is to use a storyboard.- "A storyboard is a graphic organizer that consists of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence." It will help you you keep on track and help the video to flow!! I hope this helps.

I couldn't watch the rest of the video because the extent of "uuhhmm" used. I'm sure the rest of content was well intended. Perhaps minimize the usage of "uuhhmm" for future blogs.

WOW! It’s really surprising to me (and possibly to others who have viewed your IP videos recently) that no one in your immediate family or for that matter your friends and loved ones haven’t spoken to you about their astonishment when viewing your videos? I’m pleading with you to STOP preparing any kind of meats or poultry without washing them! Can we say “cross contamination?” I would like for you to humor me if you would and try this experiment! Please take a damp paper towel and run it over a piece of meat that you’re about to prepare for your family, and you’ll be surprised and amazed to see that there’s quite a bit of earth’s soil which is still left on them. Please START washing any and everything that comes from a grocer, no matter if it’s organic or not! Organic means to me that there are no additives, preservatives or any processed substances being fed to farm animals on a ranch or homestead. The video I was referring to in which you state that it was your second video and hopefully, peeps will want to see more, I’m sure! I can appreciate and enjoy natural and whole grains although there a bit pricey! I say all of this to empower you to be more conscious of where your food products come from and incorporate cleanliness into your home cooking and videos. I’m just sayin!

P.S.: If you want peeps to continue watching your videos on YouTube, I would suggest that following a cooking session in the IP, you’ll need to actually “show” the finished product! Peeps want to truly see how it turned out (I know that’s why I value and welcome the YouTube videos so much)! Just passing along some supportive and helpful tips and hopefully, you won’t be offended by them because that’s definitely NOT my intention! Hope that you’ll appreciate my feedback and if not, please carry on! I’ll keep watching if you’ll keep making them! I’m just sayin!

I personally didn't notice the speakers Um's until all the ugly comments. Sometimes people use more Um's because they are nervous being on camera. She does know what she is talking about as far as cooking. I can't believe how many impatient people there are. These remarks do hurt someone's feelings. These cooks are not professionals.

What is that noise she make every 10-15 seconds? It sounds like a foghorn. I couldn’t figure out if she was saying emmmmm or armmmm what was it (besides very distracting). Next time edit, edit, edit. You might want to see a doctor, turrets isn’t all about cuss words.
To those who think we’re mean, there’s more. If you want to make videos, take a speech class at the local college, it may help.

I see a lot of comments re the ahmmmm habit so just my take on this. There are many videos out there by many home cooks (not professional chefs) so if it really does irritate you and you cannot see past it then move on perhaps to other videos. The constant ahmmmms are a bad habit that public speakers learn to reduce or eliminate. Often down to nerves and a way of pausing for next thing to say. However remember these young ladies are mums just trying to do useful videos. Rather than picking apart personal habits like this perhaps try to look past this and concentrate on what this is supposed to be about which is the food. I am not sure how many of you that are moaning or feel the need to put her down have made your own videos. It is not always as easy as it looks. I am all for constructive criticism but just moaning about it is not constructive. Give her a break please.

I love your videos', please make more. I feel like I'm right in the kitchen with you. The negative comments are from people who have never tried making a live video. Please ignore them! Rita

I don't have time to watch 40 min. cooking videos and I never got to see the finished product. Constructive criticism. If you can get to the point and show the final result, well I may be back.
