I have been doing the same thing with cereal for years! I love doing this with frosted flakes and corn flakes and shredded wheat that is sweetend and nonsweetened!

I think my favourite food thing about summer is pasta salad. I'm on the lookout for some new recipes and your channel is helping with that — thank you! 🙂 And also, my summer would not be complete without the occasional gin & tonic — yum. Maybe that's not a treat for your kiddos though! 🙂

We have a favorite summer dish we love. Dice 2 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, 1 onion in a bowl, add wishbone zesty robust Italian dressing. Mix well. Sometimes we add diced ham. Its a family favorite.

I LOVE those applesauce packets with the probiotics from Thrive Market. They got me through my morning sickness with both pregnancies and I love that you can re-close them after opening. They'll be great for road trips with the kids once they're a little bigger.

summer time!!! yay! any little debbie snack! any in season fresh fruit (melons, berries, peaches, plums, etc.) or veggies (bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. with ranch or onion dip), babybel cheese or any individual cheese or I will slice or cube up a cheese block (especially helpful when the 2lb cheese blocks are on sale), graham crackers and frosting, jello cups (make in small cup for more servings), any charcuterie items like pepperoni or deli meat slices, nuts and dried fruits, yogurt tubes (refrigerated or frozen), any popsicle. I personally try to minimize sodas, but will keep gatorade on hand.

Chix nug fave at our house… simple orange chicken sauce…50/50 blend of bbq and orange marmalade (add cayenne or chilies pepper if you like heat…we dont) air fry your Dino nuggets! And coat wirh sauce, serve over steamed rice… my kids LOVE IT… the dinosaurs make it taste better! Lol or we make the KFC bowls with chicken nuggets, dry instant mashed taters, corn, cheese and gravy… both are a hit when mom isn't feeling up to snuff to Fook a whole full from scratch meal

Mi day, you are probably the most creative out of the box thinking mom out there. You don't just have run of the mill ideas. I'm from Pakistan with super hot dry weather and a toddler to feed and I get amazing ideas from you.

When my watermelon isn’t sweet, I learned that cutting the melon and letting it in the fridge brings out sweetness.Texture is sacrificed so,when you don’t have the gift of picking a good watermelon, you have to make tough choices 😆

Lots of great ideas! I have been on a real graham cracker kick lately and I'm a grown up of 60 years old so I enjoy a nice cold glass of milk and some graham crackers as an evening snack after dinner. I like your idea of making the graham cracker pho ice cream sandwiches. That looks like something pretty easy to do. I also appreciate your alternative ideas for sandwiches. I have been into wraps recently but I like your idea of the crescent rolls. I use my toaster oven rather than my big oven since I'm usually just making something for myself and I don't need to heat up the whole oven that way. Unless it's the middle of winter here in Nebraska and it's freezing in sometimes it's nice to have the big oven on. Thanks Mindy I hope you guys have a great summer and I'm praying for Tulsa after the terrible tragedy at the medical center earlier this week. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
