I love this simple mole recipe. Not only is it easy it is delicious. I’m used to making everything from scratch. My mole recipe was quite lengthy, but now I just make this simple mole and my family loves it!
Made my life so much easier.

Thank you for the simplified recipe. For someone from south east asia, I was worried there are ingredients that are not available here. Been wanting to try since I watch Tom Hanks eaten mole with rice given by his mexican neighbour in movie A Man Called Otto. It looks so good

Delicioso! I had some leftover rotisserie chicken and wanted a simple and quick mole recipe and found yours Rosie. This is soooo tasty. Next time I'll try making it with dried anchos (use them for making home made chili) in place of chili powder.

Thank you for the recipe. I have been looking for a recipe that is easy and doesn't include a lot of stuff, actually this is sort of like my enchilada sauce. My mom used to make mole all the time, but, of course now she cannot remember how she did it. I don't like it bitter and dark which is the way many restaurants make it.

Thank you. This is the way I make my Chicken Mole. I don't have the pallet for peanut butter or other sweetners. I normally use chile molido powder but this year, I made my own blend of chile from dried chiles, can't forget the chile de arbol.

My Grandma used to make Chile Colorado Mole (No Chocolate or any sweet substitute that’s for mole poblano) all the time even great for tamales 🫔 now I never heard there was a short-cut! Wow definitely going to have to try it out thanks for the tip 🥰

Im wondering how this recipe tastes, because that is not mole. . You’re missing the chocolate. I know some people put peanut butter instead of the chocolate, but I personally prefer the chocolate. That’s why it’s called mole.
