I don't have a pot that fits into my pot… does it work in the regular container?
Nice
is that the 5 minute oats?
The instant pot is worth it just for the oatmeal cooking aspect.
¡Good demonstration!
Weird. I prefer the mushy texture. The kind that you like reminds me of eating shredded coconut or card board or bark from a tree. Also, is your pot 8 or 6 quart version?
I just got my instant pot. I love it.
if you made a larger batch – how long would they last for in the fridge
Easy enough, I think. Mahalo
So is this the same as English Scottish Porridge Oats that we eat I don't think we have steel cut in England Love your channel
Could the raisins be cooked in the oatmeal instead of adding later?
Was wondering what type of pot u used inside the instant pot?

can i use ramsinks inside my instant pot ? or anything ovens safe right?

Hi, new subscribee here. Can help me out with green mung bean dessert in instant pot. Thanks
I bought some Bobs Red Mill steel cut Oats which are NOT quick cooking. I followed your oatmeal demo and they were perfect! These are the best oats I've ever had. I agree with you they have a terrific chew. I've never had the non Quick oats before and it makes a huge difference. I also bought a couple of silicone mini mitts after seeing you use them. Great addition to my Instant Pot accessories. Thanks so very much for the videos and hats off to Dude for good camera work. Keep those videos coming. I check every day.
I think the problem I had was the oats. They are steel cut but they are "quick" cooking oats. Bobs red mill are not I don't think. Bobs red mill directions are to cook for ten to twenty minutes on the stove while Quaker steel cut say ready in three minutes.
Steel Cut Oatmeal instant pot
Pot in pot set up.Trivet and 1 cup water in the IP liner.
Place trivet in liner which holds the bowl above the water
Ingredients in bowl sits on top of trivet
Into the stainlesss steel bowl or Pyrex bowl put
1/2 cup steel oats
1 3/4 cups water
Bit of sugar
Bit of salt
Pat of butter
Sprinkle of dried cranberries
Set it on Manual for 7 minutes. I let it decompress for about 4 minutes. It looked a little watery but I took it out and gave it a stir. Perfect. Tasty and a filling breakfast.
Off to do it right now. I bought some steel cut oats. I have always used Silver Palette brand because I liked the texture. I'm betting they are steel cut. Years ago I tried steel cut Irish Oats and I didn't like them so I assumed that all steel cut oats looked like teeny tiny bits.
I really wish she also did these recipes without the blue tooth because we don't have that and it really confuses and frustrates me because idk if settings are different 🙁
can u do any non meat meals on instant pot thanks!
I am an ambassador for Bob's Red Mill. so glad you like the steel cut oats. 🙂
What inner pot did you use or is there a certain type/material pot we should use for the pot in pot method?
