I was just given my mom's cooker of this model. Found the online manual which doesn't help at all. I think I am missing a piece-the drip cup for the backside of the pot. Does anyone know where to go for ordering a missing part? Also, any cookbook recommendations?

My momma said "You ain't a woman until you learn how to cook with a pressure cooker" I learned with an old Mirro pressure cooker, and now, I have several old ones, and hubby wanted one of these, so I got him one, so he can play with it. (Should I be worried? Nahhh) Ya'll can use any old pressure cooker recipe, just play around with it! My question is, is the inner pot non-stick? I ask, cause ya' seem to make a point of using a wooden spoon, and the inside looks pretty dark. I don't think I would want anything but pure stainless for the inside pot

I would rather spend 79.95 for an INSTANT POT duo 60, with a stainless steel inner pot that cleans just as easy ! Ive had THREE pressure cookers with NON STICK inserts, and the coating scratches, and wears off in about a year ! Where did it go? It vaporized into your food ! Farberware may be cheaper, but does NOT compare to the high quality of the INSTANT POT, that also comes with a manual , recipe book, and a folding laminated, quick reference guide showing pictures and the cook times ! Don"t be cheap, be smart, when buying a pressure cooker or you"ll be replacing it in a few years , so where"s the savings ?

Has anyone ever made BONE broth (NOT stock/soup/stew) in their Farberware Pressure Cooker?! I am unsure as whether to use the P01 Slow Cook or P02 Soup/Stew setting. Also, how long to set the corresponding-setting. Any advice or anyone with Bone broth knowledge please help! I am looking to make a hydrating and nutritional proper bone broth with my Farberware Pressure Cooker but want to be sure I am doing it correctly. I’m attempting my first batch right now; I chose P01 Slow Cook and set it for 3 hours. Added marrow and oxtail bones, chicken feet, a mix of dried herbs, chopped garlic, leeks, parsnips, celery, carrots, onion, apple cider vinegar and I’ll probably add some grated ginger when it’s done.

You need to correct this video, the valve instructions are absolutely reverse and incorrect. The valve needs to be closed, clockwise, to the 11:00 position, and not released, turn counter-clockwise to the 7:00 position, until it is done cooking.
