I absolutely LOVE watching your video's! I want to move up to Alaska and live offbthe land as much as possible! With the way thing's are going in the world, Alaska is my DREAM place to live! My wife is nervous she wouldn't make any friends.. She has this misconception that people up there don't take kindly to new people moving up there.. LOL.. Keep up the GREAT work!! Much respect and support from Yuma, AZ. 👍👍

I made 19 half pints of beautyberry jelly and it is so beautiful. I can't wait to add it to my morning yogurt – so good with bran flakes. I LOVE this jelly. Anyway, your video today was a good one with your recipe for pork green chili tacos. I bet the boys really loved it. Your chicken coop is the prettiest thing ever and I know they will be happy this winter. It was a fun day – thanks.

how old are those chickens now? do you have some nest boxes yet? I kept a golf ball in mine until they got the hang of it and no matter how many boxes you have they almost always insist on laying in the same box! anyway it feels like you should be getting your first golden egg soon LOL!

Some of need an update on Caleb. As an old ER/RN. Fish hooks and eyes never mix well. So glad his injury broke that mold!!

The tutorial on grains is quite interesting!
I buy my already milled flours from a grain farm in Wisconsin.
See you tomorrow. Hugs to all.

I spent last night researching ancient grains and bought 2 books on them today. I am excited to see how you like the outcome. Other videos I watched didn't soak and dehydrate the grains so I want to see how you feel about the process Holy Living ( not sure how she spells it) gave you.

I wash my potatoes and poke some holes in them…I fill my instant pot with two cups of water and the potatoes…..pressure cook for ten minutes, then let it release for about five minutes. I set them out on a cookie sheet to cool a little and keeping them wet I slide a paring knife over the skin and it peels so quickly…fast and easy…..I do the same when I can potatoes rather then peeling first and then blanching I do the same process…..I will usually pressure cook them for eight minutes so they are firmer when I jar them up and they don’t mush up….
I use my 12 quart instant pot for this…..

I was wondering about those chickens! I love that coop and I bet they do too. I'm just beginning to learn about sourdough and milling flour, so I'm looking forward to seeing your results. I'm thoroughly enjoying your channel and grateful for the #everybitcounts challenge because I've found some channels I never would have otherwise. Thanks for bringing us along! Also, how is your son's eye doing?!

Loved it OMG your kitchen looked clean compared to my canning mess this weekend. I measure my spices the exact same way, I may have to try that recipe with chicken. I hope you and the family are doing well. Still sending prayers to all of you.

I hope your son is doing well after the huge scare! I must try pork loin like you cook it! As I said before I love spicy foods and adding those chilies is something I have never thought of! Thanks for the recipe! You are so awesome, my friend! Big hugs and blessings!
