I use my bread maker to make all my dough. Bread, rolls, cinnamon rolls, etc. The dough cycle kneads and rises perfectly. It is so easy to remove and then shape the dough into the desired finished shape. I love it.

Glad you are recovering. Remember to buy your wife flowers as a thank you. Don't tell her, just give them to her. I am a woman by the way.
I have been prepping since 2019 and I am glad I did.

I hate Vienna sausages.. so I'm all for stocking up.. but as usual buy what you like. I like hormel chicken ala king.. I like the salted beef in the jars.. so that's what I'm working on.. then cream of wheat, maltomeal too.. since I'm not into oatmeal.

Great list. Very practical. Idahoan potatoes are very good. I live alone and use it instead of peeling potatoes and mashing them. I’m in Texas. Never lived in El Paso, but had my foot operated on in Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1969. Thank you for the video.

I work for the largest canned bean company in the world so can see first hand what’s going on. For now, all is ok. We have our warehouses as full as they’ve ever been. We are seeing some supply problems including cans, lids, onions, sugar, and even Chep pallets. Our production prices continue to climb. I’m constantly seeing price increase letters from our suppliers. I’ll keep people posted if things change but right now there is an ample supply of beans, but expect the price to keep climbing.

I have always bought bread machines at Good will. I recently got one for $3.50. This is a much cheaper option if you don't mind used. And when I say used, mine was used maybe once or twice…it looked brand new.

Bread is fairly easy…look at the no-knead recipes from ‘artisanbreadwithsteve’ on YouTube. He has some good, practical tips for making bread for beginners. You don’t need a bread machine…just a large bowl, flour, yeast, salt, and water…and some time. Mix with the handle of a wooden spoon. very easy to follow instructions. Thanks for your channel.

Great list Lee! The bread maker may come in handy for you. I also picked up a mini fridge and small hot plate, also a rice cooker~thinking if I had power from my generator only, maybe I could run some small appliances. Also battery operated fans have been so handy during brief power outages. There's a lot to think about and prepare for with everything that's being thrown at us now. So glad I've been at this for a few years, plus I learn things from people like you as well. Hope your healing continues and you're on your feet again soon. God bless. ~~Laura

Lee, I really wish you wouldn't put the BLM in with terrorists-I have marched with them very peacefully and all they are asking for is safety and fair treatment, which they aren't getting. The media only showed the violence and crazy few of thousands that were calm since peaceful protests don't get them views. You have a lot of knowledge to share but I feel very bad that you see it this way.

You gave me several new items to get. I never even thought of the pizza kits..I do have everything needed to make pizzas but the kits would be so much easier. I have been stocking up on all the flour items I can get ever since that war started earlier this year…pasta, cake mixes, muffin mixes, pancake mixes, etc. And everyone thought I was crazy to buy all those kind of wheat products..not so crazy after all am I..lol.I am canning my freezer down so I won't have to worry about grid down and my food spoiling. I also dehydrate lots of my fruits and veggies. I have 2 dehydrators going almost 24/7. If I come across a g7ood sale on meat I buy and can or dehydrate it. Going to be concentrating on potato products and wheat products for the next 30 days..praying for the best but preparing for the worse.

Winco has had hard white and hard red wheat, oats and various beans in 25 lb on back shelves in bulk sections.
Just don't shop when it is raining as the paper bags get wet!
