OMG…I've never had scarole with pasta I've got it draining right now and came upon your video looking for something different. I'm making it this way now !!
I usually just make it like soup. This time it's YOUR way. I grew up on this stuff. Love and respect from the Long Island Italian in Florida.
    Thank you.
Oh, and I just subscribed. I love your Italian personality !

Like no one knows that. . . I guess a lot of people don’t know how to “properly” slice an onion. Seriously, I’m 100% Italian and I was so skeptical about you at first, (some people that never even heard of Scaloe. I know what it is and cook with it like my nana did. It’s so good for you. Anyway, just wanted to say you’re impressive. I wish my man would cook, let alone good Italian food. Sounds like you’re from NY. 💕

You’re absolutely right about Italians don’t time things, (or measure either). They go by sound, smell, and just experience. My Nana made this and so did my mom,, now I do, and I taught my daughter. It soooo good.

It looks great but I think the escarole got a tad slimy. I am Italian, I make this dish. There are a lot of variations to this or any Italian cooking because of what you said, we don't measure, we don't time , we just do it. Bam!

Nice job Vincenzo. You are so right about us Italians never using set measurements to cook. How about some videos on pasta fazool or fagioli as they say , peppers and eggs, spaghetti alio olio, and pasta lendica.

yo this guy is funny haha. And this is the way my grandma makes the scherole and beans, not all liquidy and shit like the other videos I seen. It should be nice and thick. But she adds sausage too so it's a little different
