LOVE LOVE LOVE my instant pot!>>>ur2.pl/1046 It is definitely not a necessity for everyone, but it has certainly made my life easier. I think the 8 quart version we got is maybe a little large for most people's needs, but I really appreciate the versatility of being able to put a larger quantity into the pot – it's made dishes like stir-fry and rice possible to cook at the same time. If you're on the fence about what size to get, or if you should get one at all, I would say go for it!

I just got mine in the pot. My custard cups would not stack the second layer so i put a silicon cover on the first layer so the second 3 would sit on that. I put a parchment round over the second layer to keep any moisture from dripping into the custard. I hope the 8 minutes will work.

Your method of making custard is great. Some recipes are much too complicated. Definitely going to make this soon. Will report back with my results. Thanks, Ron (just down the street in Boston)

Thanks for the video. I just made the custard and it had a faint flavor of liquid smoke and meat since I did a pork roast a week ago. I see that people do a 2 min steam with lemon water to get rid of orders when switching between meat and sweet.

Here in snowy Sabattus, Maine Grammy. Coming down really hard right now. Love your recipes. We recently got our insta pot and we love it. We keep looking for new recipes all the time now. Stay warm and out of this snow. Today. Also this would be a good day for a nice chowder. Got any good ones for the insta pot?
