Kovan Hawker Center have cheap Soya Milk, Grass jelly Drink and bird nest drink. 30 cents for small cup and 50 cents for big cup. Can go take a look but have to come early as they close ard early afternoon. They are open from 7am+ until sold out.

I'm Malaysian it's so surprising that there are still some foods that sell for 1SG$ in Singapore…I thought those foods don't exist considering high standard of living and average income level of SG populations… I have an impression that despite the income level, people in Singapore won't starve as there are still cheap foods accessible in the country
In Malaysia there are still many 1SG$ (RM 3+) foods but they're getting lesser as well… For RM 1/ ~0.3SG$ you only can get some kueh or cheap buns in convenience store..things are getting more expensive here but income level is still like 10 years back… 😑
