    Colon Hydrotherapist here. If you have slow bowel motility (constipation) be so so careful with the amount of soluble fiber you eat. If too much is eaten, it can basically turn into a thick glue in your colon and makes you more constipated. Start with a tiny amount and eat food that contains a lot of fluid and drink a lot of water as well.

    @Thomas DeLauer how do you suggest flaxseed is consumed? I have the seeds and grind them just before consuming, but am not sure if putting flaxmeal in bean soup is the best… looking for suggestions

    Both are a miracle of nutrition. Better than every supplement would ever be. I mean look at these fiber and protein.
    But flax all the way. They are cheap while chia is so expensive for no reason.

    Eat Chia seeds, flax seeds, and hemp seeds. Every day! Have them for breakfast at least 5 days a week. Mix it with pumpkin paste, vanilla, almond milk or lactose free milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stop eating oatmeal. Come with a different idea of what you used to do. I started doing this several weeks ago for breakfast and I will continue during the winter. Hopefully it will help my body digest better.

    Thomas , at the beginning of the video you said that chia and flax are both insoluble fiber. Later on around minute 2.15 you changed your mind, saying they are soluble fibers. Confusing.

    What do we do if we go hypoglycemic during IF? Maybe mine gluconeogenesis is slow to make sugar from stored fat and protein but it will do it's job if I eat fat and protein? Or I do need some carbs?

    Lentils… contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. On keto, I consume no legumes. I fear spiking insulin (everyone in my family is T2D: and I have resistance syndrome). Any advice? Can I add limited lentils back into my repertoire?
