John, this recipe was so flavorful and easy. I did end up with some long worm turkey pieces in my chili! 😅 Next time, I'll take the time to chop better. Thank you!
I would throw in a bag of frozen riced cauliflower to get some veggie goodness in there and to thicken it up, I would incorporate a can of refried beans.
Tried this tonight and it was so delicious and flavorful. My husband and brother-in-law cleaned the pot. I only used one can of chicken broth, one can of kidney beans, and one can of diced tomatoes but the exact same seasoning. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Omg this was amazing. I was going to use my NYT recipe. But this is better! I added one seeded jalapeño pepper in with the onion and garlic… I added lime as a condiment too!
New subscriber here ☺️ Thank you, I tried your recipe and it’s delicious, also added your family fav into it 🫶 best choice ever! You have a lovely personality, laughed along with you, great company in my kitchen, thank you 💟
Holy god, you are the first cooking YouTuber I every saw who said "2 tablespoons of oil" and actually used 2 tablespoons. Usually its like: "Now we add a tiny bit of oil" followed by a cargo ship worth of fats …. Thank you. And no, celery is completely fine, I add grated celery to a lot of meals.
I love your attitude man! Your fans are right, very humble and wholesome vibes. First time ever at hung your video! I stumbled upon a recipe similar to yours like 6 years ago so I was looking on YouTube to see if I could get any ideas. I love that you try new things with your recipes! Much love from Cali brother.
Correct that chili doesn't have turkey. It is from San Antonio de Bexar and also doesnt have bell pepper, or tomatoes, or beans. In fact, beans as an automatic DQ from official CASI chili cookoffs (Chili Appreciation Society International). Texas has a law regarding chili. It restricts or defines who can make chili. There is little doubt your dish is tasty, but would fail to meet historic or legal definitions. Loved the video though
U trying to kill vampires with all that garlic!! Geeze Louise! 😉 It made my heart happy that you slammed the garlic, that's how my dad showed my sis and I to clean garlic and I've never seen anyone do it❤
I liked this recipe, the only thing is I felt there were too many spices if that makes sense.
making this tonight! Looks yummy!
I just made your recipe and replaced the turkey with ground beef and used beef broth. It was a big hit in my house!! Delicious!!
3 tablespoons of chilli would send me to the ladies room for about a week. Perhaps it is stronger in uk.
This man is my favorite culinary youtuber. He’s like my chef Castiel
