This year we are doing soup baskets I ordered the soup crocks that hold the soup and crackers so it will be the soup crocks and a homemade soup mix and fancy crackers long with a dessert mix

For the single college kids I'm doing a microwave mug meal basket. I put a mug cookbook in a basket with 2 larger mugs and ingredients for one meal for them

Love your channel. I just discovered it last week. I hope you get your rotary cheese grater. I got one a few months ago and I love it! I'm looking into the milk frother for my husband. Thank you for all the great ideas.

I have multiple sets of measuring spoons and cups. I keep the spoons loose in a container in my baking drawer and I have different size cups in various containers of dry foods in addition to my full set in my baking drawer.

I have to laugh at most of the comments. Most people are adding these things to their wish lists rather than talking about them being great ideas for others. I guess it makes sense as if they are watching this, they are the cooks in the family 🙂

Le creuset is made in France. Great quality, cheaper made in China ones may have lead or other toxins . You get what you pay. Would never use the pioneer woman junk at Walmart for sure All made in Communist China!

Oh Mindy I love your videos. I feel like I’m visiting with a friend! But I gotta say that’s a strange gift for a 12 year old girl. Kudos to you for raising her to be practical. My 3 boys want nothing to do with practical…sigh.

Some things I like to add with kitchen gifts. Small spatulas for cookies and pies, nylon ones are nice as they don’t scratch pans. An instant read thermometer fo meat is really handy and not expensive and new dish towels and pot holders are a great additions to any kitchen gifts.

Do you have the new Pioneer Woman cookbook? I think it's called Super Easy… something like that. It's on my list this year. Also, her actual book is GREAT. I laughed out loud several times. It's kind of like a memoir.

    Great ideas. Thanks Mindy.
For someone like a male student moving out from home, if I know his likes and dislikes in food, I'll often give a selection of dried herbs and spices, a 'one pot meal' cookbook, a card to go inside the cookbook with ideas for improving convenience food with the herbs and spices, and 5 vouchers for 'no questions asked and no one told' meal rescue, meal planning or shopping phone calls.

Actual cookbooks are great to have when the internet or data access is down!! You can search for recipes that don’t require electricity too!! In rural areas this is often an issue and a hard copy is a blessing!!

Oh you need the cheese grater that Mandy In The Making uses. That is amazing. I broke down and got it and I LOVE it. The other thing I put on my list is a dutch oven. Because you have also recommended Frugal Fit Mom's channel before and she has a bread recipe that she makes in a dutch oven. So I want one. I love your videos. And the idea to get a cookbook and ingredients is cute and personal. Thank you for the inspiration!!!

Crockpots are a great gift idea for older relatives. A great add on is a few ready to go bags with a few meals that they just have to pour into the crock pot. Or for a close relative even a "certificate" for one or two bags to arrive each month to go with the crock pot – they will often feed them for a few meals. Some of my older relatives have appreciated meals like this or homemade "tv dinners" the most.

I have been thinking about that popcorn thing you have, but haven't seen one … and oh my goodness – I was wanting a cheese grater, too but I loathe grating. Never thought about a rotating grater, THANK YOU for mentioning that! To Amazon I go!!! Blessings! ❤
