Catherine, I just made this dish for dinner and it was so good! I used better than bouillon in beef flavor and did end up adding 2 more cups of liquid broth. Everything else I followed to a T. My husband loved it too! This is a keeper for sure! Thanks for sharing

I make a similar meatball but dice my onion much smaller. I make a beefy sweet and sour gravy type sauce and serve over steamed rice.
I do love a good Swedish meatball and noodles meal. Making your recipe tonight., but with smaller dice on onions, lol πŸ˜‰

Hello Catherine, I'm new to your channel.
This will he the first of your recipes that I will make. My grocery store had a buy one, get one free sale on these noodles. I couldn't pass up on the deal ( I bought 8 bags), but I've never had these noodles before, so I didn't know what to do with them. The only recipes I found were for Buttered Noodles.
Anyway, I want to thank you for this recipe. If you have any more with these noodles, I hope you'll share those recipes too.
    Thank you!

    Hi Cath,
    D. LICIOUS !

and I'm wondering that a recipe from Texas shows me (native and resident German) how good swedish meatballs can be. We are closer to Sweden than TX is πŸ™‚

I know in Texas everything is bigger. But what size must a chicken have if what you put in 0:57 is just ONE egg ?

I like to saute my onions and minced garlic in butter and olive oil before I add them to the meat. I saute the meatballs in butter and olive oil, just to give them a nice color, then I put them in a 9 x 13 glass dish, drizzle them in more butter and olive oil, and set the temp to 350 degrees until they are done 30-40 minutes). I do this with spaghetti meatballs too. They are not quick, or lowfat, but they sure are tender, juicy, and delicious! πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Looks absolutely delicious Catherine. I am lazy since I use the Ikea brand meatballs and basically put them in a mini crockpot with French onion soup, cream of celery soup and sour cream.

Thank you Catherine! You didn't seem to have a problem with the sour cream curdling, so I am assuming the sour cream must have been at room temperature. The meatballs stuck together even with the uncooked onion which releases a lot of moisture while cooking. Gonna go check out the crockpot version. Do you cook with the electric pressure cooker yet? I love mine. I have a little 2 qt I purchased from HSN. Happy Hump Day said the Camel! lol
