I've recently been enjoying patties made from soaked/sprouted legumes. I soak the legumes (chickpeas, lentils work very well of course) for 24 to up-to 60 hours until sprouting starts, I drain them and blend them semi-creamy in the blender/processor/meat grinder, adding traditional hummus/falafel herbs and spices. I like to add a whole lemon with peel and seeds blended liquified, shredded raw red onion, parsley, chives, turmeric, allspice, cumin, garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, ground raw sesame seeds….flavors of hummus, in my estimation;) Salt as desired.

Then in roughly 2-4 oz balls, I flatten them 1/4 inch thick, in a hot Scanpan. Low heat (330ºF – 340ºF griddle temp. my guess?) for 5 minutes a side, and wow. Served in pita with avocado? (As Howard Dean would say) YEAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

I absolutely love Japanese sweet potatoes, I’m curious can you get them organic where you live? Unfortunately I can only find them in Asian markets where I live and they are not organic. So of course I always have to discard the skin because being grown in Japan I have no idea what is on the surface no matter how good I wash it lol I absolutely wish I could find these organic

I have made hash browns in my air fryer using parchment paper and it works well. I can't tolerate soy but would use garbanzo beans in place of the tofu. Good ideas for meals. Thank you
