How to measure water for rice? Usually 1.5 cup of water for one cup of rice. But here the water equal with rice. So, I'm confused. What type of rice you're using? Normally I'm using Pre boiled rice and basmati rice.

I normally mix the almost cooked chicken into the rice when it begin to steam. (The rice precooked with added soy sauce for colour.) And add the other ingredients (LupCheong&hahmYue). Normally the extra chicken gravy is added onto individually plates during serving.
OR *cook chicken, ginger, mushroom and rice together with added dark sauce. Later stir it while adding salted fish while steaming. *This is the dry version.
But what you are doing here is another good easy version.

Hi Roland, my rice cooker can only cook rice. It will automatically turn off once rice is cooked. Can I still make this dish via stove. I.e meaning i cook the rice in the rice cooker then once it is cooked, I transfer the rice out to a wok and fry it with rest of ingredients (fried salted fish, fried sausages, and marinated chicken)?

I've never handled salted fish before. Sorry for a noob question, does the dried salted fish need rinsing? Do you use normal rice cooking function? I have the claypot rice function on my cooker. Can I use that? Any difference?

Hello Roland and Jamie, I’m a big fan, I watched all your video!
May I please check if the chicken and other ingredients are added after the rice is 3/4 cooked (mentioned in video 2:04), or fully cooked (in one of the comments)?
    Thanks

Hi Roland, for later stage where you cook the chicken, do you let the heat cook the chicken when the rice cooker is on “heat/warm” mode or do you further cook for additional 20 min?
